Our Federal Government client is seeking applications for APS3 Tribunal Services Officers and APS4 Tribunal Officers to join their registries across Australia.
These positions are available on a full-time non- ongoing basis. Tribunal Officers are responsible for delivering first level services to the Tribunal's users.
This can include managing administration, dealing with incoming email, mail correspondence, telephone calls, responding to in-person enquiries at the Tribunal's registries and providing support for hearings.
APS3 Tribunal Services Officers:
$71,720 - $74,460 per annum+ 15.4% superannuation We are looking for enthusiastic people with a passion for providing excellent customer service, who are organised and can work with competing priorities.
Some administrative tasks are part of the role, including scanning, receipting, and processing correspondence therefore candidates are required to have a reasonable level of IT literacy.
You will be responsible for providing information and handling enquires from tribunal applicants, their representatives and Tribunal members. Therefore, good verbal and written communications skills are an essential requirement of this role.
APS4 Tribunal Officers:
$76,887 - $83,480 per annum + 15.4% superannuation We are looking for driven people with a passion for providing excellent customer service.
A background with managing case work including updating and maintain files, case analysis, interpretation and making recommendations would be an advantage. Some administrative tasks are part of the role, including data entry, actioning correspondence and mailbox management. Therefore candidates should have a good level of IT literacy.
As you will be responsible for providing information and handling enquires from tribunal applicants, their representatives and Tribunal members. strong verbal and written communications skills are an essential part of this role.
The key duties of the positions include
APS3 Tribunal Services Officers:
- Administrative assistance: Provide administrative assistance in the management of cases and caseloads including raising applications, finalisation of review application decisions, scanning, receipting and processing of correspondence. Operate the Tribunal's case management systems and use relevant software and applications in the preparation of case-related correspondence and the conduct of hearings. Receive and undertake inquiries on behalf of Tribunal members. Undertake the role of Sub-collector of Public Monies and assist management to complete the team's required tasks as appropriate.
- Hearing support: Support Tribunal hearings including by providing preliminary information to participants, facilitating oaths and affirmations, and operating telephone, video conferencing and recording technology.
- User engagement: Liaise with users of the Tribunal's services in relation to cases before the Tribunal, provide accurate client service information and direct enquiries where appropriate to relevant areas of the Tribunal.
APS4 Tribunal Officers:
- Case management and analysis: Develop and maintain a good knowledge of applicable legislation and policy frameworks, operations, and practices of the jurisdictions of the Tribunal.
- Manage a caseload and/or undertake case management and case analysis tasks. Interpret and apply legislation, policy, and procedures to sets of facts in order to make recommendations in relation to case pathways, prepare case-related information and correspondence, and make decisions in accordance with delegations and procedures.
- User engagement: Liaise with users of the Tribunals services in relation to cases before the Tribunal. Conduct outreach calls to self-represented applicants. Provide accurate procedural information.
- Administrative assistance: Maintain and update case files using case management systems and undertake general administrative support functions, including data entry, management of incoming and outgoing correspondence, copying and mailbox management.
