About the role

The QSR officer provides critical administration and data management support to the QSR team and manager. The role focuses on collating, organising, and reporting data related to quality, safeguarding, and compliance. It plays a key role in ensuring that reporting to the NDIS Commission is accurate and timely while supporting the smooth operation of quality improvement, compliance and safeguarding activities across the organisation.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide day to day administration support to the QSR team, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes, and tracking action items.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, presentation, and other documentation required internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain and organise records of audits, compliance documentation, and safeguarding reports in an efficient and accessible manner.
  • Provide assistance with support and development of QSR client record management systems.
  • Daily review of incidents
  • Weekly and monthly monitoring/reporting of restrictive practices to NDIS commission
  • Collect, organise, and analyse data on quality and safeguarding activities, incidents, and compliance audits.
  • Prepare and submit reports to the NDIS Commission, ensuring that all data is accurate, up to date, meets regulatory deadlines.
  • Maintain QSR registries
  • Assist in generating data-driven insights for the QSR manager and QSR team to support quality improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements by maintaining accurate records and preparing reports as required.
  • Work closely with the QSR manager to monitor and update safeguarding reports, ensuring appropriate data management and follow-up actions.
  • Support the QSR team in coordinating and documenting quality audits, action plans, and safeguarding initiatives.
  • Liaise with other departments and teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency across the organisation.
  • Assist in the implementation of quality improvement and safeguarding projects by managing timelines and follow-ups.

About you

We are looking for someone with strong administrative skills, high-level attention to detail, particularly in preparing and reviewing reports, excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines, strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to interact with a variety of stakeholders. As well as, proficient computer skills, with experience using Microsoft Office and other systems and databases and ability to quickly learn new systems

You will also need to hold (or have the ability to obtain) a current Ochre Card, Criminal History Check, NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, First Aid certificate and an NT Drivers Licence.
