Katherine Physio was founded in 2014 and is Katherine’s only locally owned and run Physiotherapy practice. We are a team of 8 including Physiotherapists, Massage therapy, admin and support staff, and aim to provide a wide range of services to the Katherine and surrounding community.
Katherine Physio has a growth mindset, and are expanding our team to bring Exercise Physiology services to Katherine.

Complete high quality assessments and develop tailored individual exercises for a range of conditions and injuries.
Use your experience in exercise science to guide musculoskeletal rehabilitation and assist in the lifestyle management of metabolic and neuromuscular conditions.
Oversee and run exercise rehabilitation groups for a variety of conditions
Oversee and run reformer and mat pilates classes
Oversee and run child development programs
Work in a culturally safe and professional manner
Establish and build up the Exercise Physiology service in Katherine
Oversee daily clinic operations at the Centre for Movement
Registration as an ESSA accredited Exercise Physiologist
Minimum 2 years experience
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Commitment to evidence-based practice, ongoing learning and professional development
Motivated, punctual and strong communication skills
A love and passion for Exercise Physiology.
Pilates experience desired
The town of Katherine is situated 320 kilometres south-east of Darwin and amongst some of the most remarkable natural landscape in the world. Katherine is full of nature-based recreation activities and adventures, where residents spend their days camping, fishing, canoeing, bush-walking, hunting, swimming and all-round exploring of the magnificent Katherine region.
NT PHN/RWA NT may be able to offer relocation support and clinical educational financial assistance to health professionals who are relocating to the NT or moving within the NT to a greater remoteness area classification for the purposes of employment and further clinical education.
