Airnorth is seeking motivated local applicants for our 2025 intake for First or Second Year Apprentice Aircraft Maintenance Engineers - Mechanical (B1.1) or Avionics (B2) to join our Darwin Engineering team.

Activities undertaken during your apprenticeship:
Complete training and study of aircraft maintenance and regulatory requirements to progress to an Aircraft Maintenance EngineerPerforming aircraft maintenance including the removal and installation of aircraft componentsSupporting the issue, supply and management of tooling and equipmentAssisting with creating and updating work ordersHousekeeping of the hangar facilityMaintaining a detailed apprenticeship journal
We are looking for someone who has:
Completed Aviation studies (advantageous but not essential) Demonstrated commitment to safety and a compliant work environmentA self-starter with a strong work ethicGood communication and interpersonal skillsGood level of eye and hand coordination skills Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a teamStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
