As a Planner at Wilmar Sugar & Renewables, your primary responsibility will be to develop detailed and high-quality work plans for maintenance and capital activities. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of operations by developing and aligning work plans with the company's strategic goals. Your contributions will directly impact the success of our maintenance programs, helping to keep our operations running smoothly.
This position will be based in the Herbert region, a hidden gem brimming with natural beauty, rich heritage, and small-town charm. From the lush rainforests of the Wet Tropics to the pristine beaches and winding rivers, the region offers a stunning backdrop for adventure, relaxation, and discovery.
Your Role in Action
- Work Plan Development: Create and deliver comprehensive maintenance and capital work plans, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives.
- SAP Maintenance: Develop and maintain SAP planned and scheduled maintenance work packs and elements of plant maintenance strategies, including master data management for standardised task lists, MMS plans, equipment records, and bills of materials
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and inventory teams
- Support Improvement Initiatives: Assist in identifying and implementing improvement initiatives
- Maintenance Recording and Review: Ensure all maintenance activities are recorded and reviewed in accordance with business policies and procedures, including preventative maintenance programs, detailed maintenance history, and tracking estimates against actuals
- Bills of Material Management: Develop and maintain accurate and current bills of material for all equipment, including design and mechanical drawings. Review feedback from maintenance teams and plant data to identify strategy improvements
- Compliance and Continuous Improvement: Ensure compliance with reliability processes, work management practices, procedures, and technical standards. Participate in continuous improvement teams and identify opportunities for system and process improvements
The Successful Applicant
Our ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience working within a heavy industrial environment. Ideally, they will hold a trade certificate, are proficient in using Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), and possess experience in operational, maintenance, and project planning, as well as estimating and scheduling tasks.
