About the Role:
As our Business Development Manager, you'll be the driving force behind strategic growth across the NT region. Focused on Tier One customers in the building and construction industry, your role is all about expanding our footprint through trusted relationships and smart, solutions-driven selling.
Key responsibilities:
- Identify and engage key decision-makers within target accounts
- Build long-term, trusted relationships with Tier One customers
- Develop and execute tailored sales strategies to achieve growth targets
- Manage a strong pipeline of qualified new business opportunities
- Provide input on pricing, revenue forecasting, and market insights
- Represent the Kennards Hire brand at key industry events and customer meetings
- Travel across the NT region as required to support business development
About You
You're a natural relationship builder and a confident communicator, with the drive to uncover opportunities and turn them into long-term partnerships.
You'll also bring:
- Proven B2B sales success, ideally within or related to the building & construction industry
- Experience working with Tier One contractors or project stakeholders
- Strong cold-calling and pipeline management skills
- Confidence in communicating with people at all levels, from site to C-suite
- High resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Solid skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)
