We are seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Manager – Food & Beverage to help lead the delivery of outstanding hospitality across two of the Territory’s most iconic venues. This is your chance to bring energy, leadership, and innovation to a role where no two days are the same.
The Opportunity:
As our Assistant Manager – Food & Beverage, you’ll play a key role in ensuring excellence across our restaurants, bars, gaming, Keno, and event spaces. Reporting into our Restaurant & Bar Manager, you’ll lead daily operations, support major events, and help shape the guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations across food, beverage, gaming, and event services—ensuring smooth, efficient service and guest satisfaction.
Provide hands-on leadership and support to frontline teams, ensuring high standards of presentation, timekeeping, and service delivery.
Collaborate with the kitchen, event, and bistro teams to ensure seamless event and dining experiences.
Contribute to recruitment, onboarding, and training, helping to build a strong, capable team.
Uphold compliance with RSA, RSG, licensing, WH&S, and all legal obligations.
Support stock control, ordering, POS management, and financial processes.
Drive guest engagement through innovative promotions and service enhancements.
Play an active role in race days, major events, and special projects.

What you will bring:
RSA, RSG, First Aid, and Gaming Machine Managers licence (essential).
Minimum two years’ leadership experience in hospitality—ideally across gaming, events, and dining.
Strong knowledge of hospitality operations, compliance, and WH&S.
Proficiency in POS systems (H&L preferred) and Microsoft Office.
Confident leadership with the ability to mentor, develop, and inspire frontline teams.
Availability for weekend, evening, and public holiday shifts—especially during our peak event season (June–August).
Forklift Licence (desirable, not essential).
