Northern Territory Legal Aid CommissionThe Northern Territory Legal Aid Commission (the Commission) is an independent statutory authority established under the Legal Aid Act 1990 to provide legal assistance to the community.
The Attorney-General’s Department is seeking expressions of interest for the role of Commissioner representing community interests on the Commission.
Commissioners are appointed for up to three years and may be reappointed. They receive a daily sitting fee for their participation in official duties.
