The Opportunity
We now have an amazing opportunity to be PARTT of something meaningful. As a key member of our Care Services team, you will play a hands-on role providing 1:1 support to one of our amazing participants.
This position is a part time contract, with a fixed 22 hours per week, currently fixed term to the participant's current plan end date. You must be available for the following roster:
Monday 9am-3pm
Tuesday 9am-3pm
Thursday 9am-3pm
Friday 9am-3pm
(excluding public holidays)
The successful candidate will possess the experience to work with individuals with complex care needs. Local applicants are preferred.
Key Duties Include:
- Medication administration
- Home Based Daily Living Support
- Taking participant for appointments and other community participation
- Behaviour observation and support
- Meal preparation and shopping assistance
- Maintaining a record of participant progress
- Assessing participant to determine continuing needs
- Assistance in building participant self-image and self-confidence
Skills And Experiences
Who We're Looking For
We are seeking an experienced, capable support workers with a background supporting clients from various backgrounds.
The successful candidates will have:
- Own vehicle for transport with comprehensive insurance
- Ability to work varied shifts
- Certificate III or IV in Disability, Ageing or related industries highly regarded
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Current National Police Clearance
- Current NT Unrestricted Driver’s License
Due to participant requirements, we can only consider candidates who meet the requirement of English as a first language in this instance.
