We are on a significant growth trajectory, and we're looking for a senior Electrical/Renewable engineer on a permanent/contract basis to join our mission. Location: Remote (We're flexible, but Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, or Darwin is a plus)

YOUR ROLE: ENGINEER and a LEADER

As a Senior Electrical Engineer at AGILE, you will be a cornerstone of our technical team and a driver of our business growth.

Your core responsibilities will include:

• Act as the Subject Matter Expert for a diverse range of energy projects, leading the electrical engineering design for large-scale (>1MW) solar, battery storage, and hybrid systems.
• Execute Engineering calculations (Volt drop and Volt rise, fault current analysis, AC/DC cable sizing, determination of major equipment BOP equipment) and develop robust protection settings and relay co-ordination for large-scale projects.
• Perform load analysis, develop load profile, conduct feasibility studies, perform financial and economical evaluation such as simple ROI, NPV, to assist FID process.
• Spearhead the grid-connection process across the NEM states, NT, and WA, leveraging your deep understanding of Australian Standards to ensure
• Work autonomously to grow our business and expand our capability across the country.
• Play a key role in our success by identifying new work opportunities, preparing compelling tenders, and leading proposals to win new projects.
• Act as a trusted advisor to our clients, contractors, and project developers, building the relationships that underpin our reputation for quality and delivery.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

We're looking for a passionate and commercially minded engineer who is ready to take the next step in their career.

• A degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience in the renewable energy industry.
• You are, or are actively working towards, Chartered status (CPEng & RPEQ).
• Proven experience delivering large-scale renewable projects, with deep expertise in electrical design and calculations. Consulting experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with key industry software such as AutoCAD, Helioscope (or similar), and Elek Cable Pro (or similar).
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
