Salary: $80,000–$90,000 (New Graduate), plus 12.5% Superannuation
6 Weeks Annual Leave + 17.5% Leave Loading

About Oodles Therapy:
Oodles Therapy is a vibrant, values-driven allied health practice based on Jawoyn land in Katherine, NT. We’re passionate about delivering culturally safe, person-centred care to remote communities across the Big Rivers region. As the only private allied health clinic permanently based in the area, we offer occupational therapy and speech pathology services in clinic, schools, homes, and workplaces.

About the Role:
We’re seeking an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our transdisciplinary team. You’ll work across the lifespan with clients funded through ECEI, NDIS, aged care, and private sources. This role blends traditional OT duties with community engagement and capacity building, perfect for someone who thrives in dynamic, remote settings.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Duties:
Manage a diverse caseload across settings
Deliver evidence-based, culturally safe assessments and interventions
Prescribe Assistive Technology and recommend Home Modifications
Complete ADL, FCA, and SIL assessments
Collaborate with families, support coordinators, GPs, and community organisations
Supervise OT students and contribute to group therapy programs
Maintain clear, timely documentation
Qualifications & Checks
Bachelor/Master of Occupational Therapy
AHPRA Registration
Medicare Provider Number (or in progress)
NT Ochre Card & Police Check
Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme Check
Current Driver’s Licence
Ideal Candidate
Essential:
Passion for remote health and willingness to relocate
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
Commitment to culturally safe practice
Desirable:Experience with NDIS/ECEI
Familiarity with complex conditions (Autism, FASD, trauma)
Experience working with First Nations peoples
First Aid Certificate & 4WD training
